St. Theodore Parish Picnic – July 19, 2020

Our entire parish family working together will build a successful day! Thank you in advance for your time (work shifts and volunteerism), talent (handicrafts, quilts, ideas …), and treasure (for your support and participation at the picnic and our many activities of the day).

Important Dates, Duties & Times

Many Volunteers Needed – Men, Women, Teens, Children - Rain or Shine!!!



Saturday, July - 8:00 am Picnic Work Day – clean grounds, clean stands, paint, rake, sweep, etc.
Wednesday, July - 6:00 pm Dish Day – dishwashing, general setup, some lifting
Saturday, July - 8:00 am Setup Day – cleaning kitchen, prepare kitchen, clean/set tables, stand setup, ready the grounds, etc.
Sunday, July - Please arrive at your assigned time EVERYONE NEEDED for the BIG EVENT!!!  Please make arrangements for young children during your work shift.  Thank you!
Monday, July - 8:00 am Clean Up Day -- Clean grounds, kitchen, stands, store items, etc.

Donation Requests for each Family

Please mark all items/bags with name of stand if bringing to church vestibule.  Thank You!

When Needed

$20 meat donation to help defray meat cost for parish In designated church envelopes Collection Basket
2-3 Cakes (preferably homemade; variety besides chocolate appreciated).
School Families:  if you would like to donate cookies; please donate 3 dozen.

Any homemade or home grown food items (pint jars preferred  & label all “nut” items) Country Store Picnic Day
1 Bath Towel Set or Any Baby Quilt/Afghan Donation Fancy Work Stand Church Vestibule or Stand on Picnic Day
Three $1 Toys & One $5 Toy Or One $10 Toy Toy Stand Church Vestibule or Stand on Picnic Day

Masses Picnic Weekend Include:

Saturday 5:00 p.m. at the picnic grounds (weather permitting)
Sunday 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in church

Picnic Day Dinners are served from 11:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

It helps everyone if you plan to eat at a time other than your shift.

Adults - $14
Children (5-10 yrs) - $7
Children (under 5) – Free

Fried Chicken, Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Corn, Green Beans, Tomatoes, Cole Slaw,
Bread, Cake, Ice Tea & Coffee

Parishioners may park in Parish Parking (when available) or at the Knights of Columbus parking lot (if you are able).

Every effort has been made to be inclusive of all parish members.  If you cannot locate your name on the list & are capable of helping it was an oversight.  Please contact Teri or Pam (phone #s on first page) to find a spot for your talent. We truly need & appreciate everyone helping to make this day a success!

All kitchen workers please report to the central work station in the kitchen/dining hall to check in. All stand workers/please report to your stand on the grounds.
