Capital Campaign to Expand our Campus
Campaign Overview
For over 140 years, St. Theodore has given glory to God and served Flint Hill. Today, God is blessing us with rapid growth—and we must respond. We have the opportunity to purchase 12 acres directly west of our campus. This land will:

If we don’t act now, the land will likely be sold to another buyer. We would lose the preschool building (due to zoning laws preventing it being sold separately), miss the chance to expand parking, face higher construction costs, and limit our parish’s ability to grow and serve the souls God is sending us.

This campaign is the next step in our parish growth strategy: securing now the land we need for the future. In 2028, we will begin discerning the next step to continue glorifying God and saving souls in Flint Hill for generations to come.

Q. Why is this land purchase so important—and what happens if we don’t act now?
A. This 12-acre parcel directly next to our campus is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to secure the future of our parish. It would allow us to build a larger church, provide sufficient parking, own our preschool building, and preserve open space for parish and school use. If we don’t act, the land will likely be sold to another buyer, and we would lose all of these possibilities. The preschool building cannot be separated from the parcel due to zoning laws, so we would lose the chance to own it. We’d also face more expensive solutions for our building needs and significantly reduce our ability to grow and serve our expanding community. This moment won’t come again.

Q. What does this mean for the growth of the school?
A. We had been planning a school expansion, but this land opportunity shifted our discernment. In 2028, we will prayerfully decide our next major step—whether that’s a new church, an expanded school, another building, or waiting a few more years.

Q. When will the land be purchased?
A. After raising sufficient funds and receiving Archbishop approval. We aim to purchase it by June 2026.

Q. Is my pledge separate from my offertory?
A. Yes. Weekly offertory covers parish operations. This campaign pledge is a sacrificial gift above and beyond to secure our future.
