BAPTISM

God desires to do something extraordinary for your child through the gift of Baptism.

To understand it, we have to go back to the beginning. When Adam, he rejected the gift of being God's adopted child. He gave up the life of grace that made him capable of getting to heaven and seeing God face to face. It also meant that all of us, his descendants, wouldn't have this grace in our souls when we are conceived.

God's love was not spent, though. In his desire for us and our salvation, God the Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross and rose from the dead for the forgiveness of sins and so that our souls could regain adoption as his children.

In Baptism, the fruits of Christ's cross will be poured into your child's soul. Your child will become an adopted child of God, receive the gift of sanctifying grace, and have the way to eternal life opened.

God desires an amazing gift for your child. We are honored to celebrate this beautiful sacrament with your family and to welcome your child into the Church.

To begin the process, please contact the parish office to schedule your child's Baptism. The baptism registration form is available below.

If this is your first child to be baptized, Fr. Purcell will also schedule a meeting with you before the baptism date is confirmed. This meeting is an opportunity to discuss the meaning of the sacrament, answer any questions you may have, and help you prepare to celebrate this joyful day.
